Charge
The State Advisory Committee on the Transfer of Adult Career-Technical programs from the Ohio Department of Education to the Ohio Board of Regents will consist of stakeholders in workforce education from adult career centers, two-year campuses and other related entities and will provide advice on the following priorities in accordance with Amended Substitute House Bill 119.
- Respond to a review of adult career-technical state level issues/items that need to be considered in the successful transition of adult career-technical workforce development programs, including ABLE, from the Ohio Department of Education to the Board of Regents. Provide input into proposed transition policies/plan and timeline to support an aligned workforce system.

Provide advice on key issues to the state education agencies in formulating planning strategies to successfully integrate Adult Career-Technical programs seamlessly into the Board of Regents system.

Respond to specific questions generated by the Ohio Department of Education and the Board of Regents to facilitate the transfer of programs.

Consider strategies that will increase stakeholder communication and provide information to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations in developing accountability matrixes that improve the system for both businesses and individuals.

Ensure consistency across the two-year colleges and adult-career-technical system to respond to the same standards for performance and funding.

Develop strategies, recommendations and a process for improving the total productivity of a united workforce education system.
