Focusing on the strategic plan and Ohio’s adult workforce, Antioch University McGregor President Dr. Barbara Gellman-Danley greeted Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Eric D. Fingerhut for the third in a series of six Community Conversations around the state. Chancellor Fingerhut, along with local higher education, business and student leaders, discussed the 10-year strategic plan for higher education that was presented to Governor Strickland and the Ohio General Assembly on March 31. |

Columbus State Community College President Valeriana Moeller welcomed Chancellor Eric D. Fingerhut and college, business, civic and student leaders to discuss the state’s 10-year strategic plan for higher education delivered by the Chancellor to Governor Strickland and the Ohio General Assembly March 31. The first in a series of six regional forums to be held around the state, the April 16 session provided an overview of the plan and a moderated discussion with the audience and panelists on college affordability. |

In the second stop of a series of six Community Conversations around the state, Chancellor Eric D. Fingerhut was hosted by Shawnee State University’s President Dr. Rita Rice Morris to discuss the state’s 10-year strategic plan for higher education delivered by the Chancellor to Governor Strickland and the Ohio General Assembly March 31. Chancellor Fingerhut provided an overview of the plan, as well as moderated a panel discussion composed of local college, business, civic and student leaders that focused on college affordability and increasing enrollment to make the region more competitive in attracting employers and new jobs to Appalachia.
